Convert weeks, days and hours
Weeks, days or hours?
Most Acts set long service leave in weeks, but payslips often show hours, and people take it in days. South Australia counts it in calendar days: 13 weeks is 91 days, and SafeWork SA says an employer may not deduct more than 1.4 days for each working day of leave. The NSW public service counts extended leave in working days.
The converter assumes the same hours and days each week. If your hours vary, the Act pays leave at an average of past hours; use the average hours calculator for that.
